I think I just hit the point where it’s clear that either my game hoarding needs to stop, or the industry needs to slow down with the number of releases per year (probably both need to happen) …because when you’re watching these gameplay clips, your eyeballs pop outta yer head, and you say “my lord, what is that masterpiece?!” only to realize that it’s been sitting untouched with a few hundred other games you’ll never play.
I worry there are too many copycats…does anyone else value originality? When almost every game on this list is derivative of Hades, Diablo, Dark Souls, Metroid/castlevania…this is part of why AAA got so bad, not to mention the movie/music industry. This list really could use a lot more work, no offense. You can’t make a better Diablo. If it was a lot better, it wouldn’t remind me so much of Diablo. 😅
